A faith-based 501(c)(3) charity organization, Hope Center Houston (HCH) is a Day Center for those experiencing homelessness in our community.

With humble beginnings as a ministry of a local church, it was formed in 2016 to meet the needs of ‘the least of these’ spoken of in Matthew 25. And empowering, rather than enabling our guests, HCH offers programs that encourage participation as a pathway out of homelessness, and services made possible through the generous support of individuals, businesses, and congregations of all denominations that also provide volunteers, donors, and funding.

As such, Hope Center Houston offers a safe place and caring community for our homeless brothers and sisters, strives to restore their dignity through hospitality, provides their basic needs, and offers encouragement and help to transition out of homelessness.

Each bas-relief ornament is cast from the original sculpture and is comprised of natural, non-toxic, and eco-friendly materials. The ornaments receive unique handmade finishes (please allow for slight variations as a result). The standard finishes of ANTIQUE and VERDIGRIS are joined by MEDICINE, the limited edition finish. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

*Upon requests, this ornament is available in additional formats. All finishes are available without the hemp loop and notched on the back of the circles for wall display. The ANTIQUE finish is also available as a 5 x 5” plaque for wall display or it could be set upon a small easel for shelf or table display. You can specify your preferences when you select the finish. Please note that bas-relief is an optical illusion of sorts and that the piece will change appearance in relation to the amount/direction of light. Direct overhead lighting, natural or artificial, is the best in which to display your ornament.

Current ornament materials include: natural plaster and hydro lacquer, biodegradable hemp, jute, freshwater pearls, shell, ethically sourced mica, silver, gold, milk paint, 100% natural bamboo, stainless steel, glass, and coccoina adhesive.
