Upon request, the bozzetto of a dear cat that helped to nurse the artist back to health is being recreated and released in a limited edition; the original was left with the nuns.

ABOUT THE BOZZETTI
You may be familiar with maquette - the French term for a small model of a larger, intended sculptural endeavour. The Italian term bozzetto - which translates to sketch - also describes studies for finalized works. These bozzetti began as a contemplative practice during an artist residency. The idea was to create something within an hour, usually without source material, and this practice has continued to be a part of the artist’s studio life.
