Eco Hearts

BLUE VELVET
Created from the garment of a loved one, BLUE VELVET is a limited edition eco heart. It is hand-stitched, filled with discarded scraps, and finished with a lovely wooden bead and jute. Approximately 3.5” high, sans loop.

EARTH TONES
We love neutrals + earth tones and combine donated scraps with handmade, beeswax-sealed clay beads and glass for our EARTH TONES eco hearts. Approximately 3” high, sans loop. Custom orders are accepted.

LENTEN
We were sent tiny, torn squares of vintage fabric. These joined references to ash, mending, purple, sackcloth, and tears for our hand-stitched, limited edition LENTEN hearts. The light cream felt is 100% wool. Approximately 2.75” high, sans loop.

VINE
The first eco heart design references branches, vines, and blossoms. Linen scraps filled with discarded 100% cotton T-shirts join hand embroidery and jute cord for a 100% biodegradable creation. Note that the embroidery colours vary due to donated thread. Approximately 2.75” tall, sans loop.

The hearts are also available without the loops; in a hospital setting, we learned that people find it healing to simply hold a heart shape that was hand-stitched in a contemplative manner. Please make this request at checkout.
